Roadtripping Texas Hill Country Day 3

Gruene Hall was so much fun. I think it’s been my favourite place yet. The band that had the album release were pretty good but the support act – wow, he was brilliant. A singing cowboy!!!

Next day we were off to San Antonio and thankfully the last of driving in a Texan city. They drive fast (really really fast), their cars are massive (more like trucks), their highways are HUGE, there’s always roadworks and occasionally I misunderstand the sat nav! It’s been an adventure that’s for sure.

San Antonio is a fun city. They have a great river walk promenade lined with restaurants, bars and shops. They have little boats that float down the river and it’s a great way to find out the local history.

Now it’s time to explore the Alamo and the rest of this city.
