Washington is alot of fun. And beautiful. Saw the White House today and the Pres was either coming in or out – wasn’t sure and none of the police or secret service was saying.

Me: ‘Excuse me sir, but can you please tell me what’s going on?’

SS: “No Maam, I’m not at liberty to say” . . .

Ok, WTF does that mean? But as it turned out, from everyone I spoke to there was a motorcade on the way. Barack and Michelle had been out and were on their way back home.

Security is quite heightened at the moment, due to recent events they’ve pushed the second fence back.

The Lincoln Memorial was my favourite today. I’ll post photos shortly. I walked all around the National Mall, up to the Capitol, so great to see.
