Seeing the beauty of slot canyons and Horse Shoe Bend have been on my bucket list for a long time! So glad I got to cross them off on this trip.
I booked a tour with a great company and the slot canyon was on their land.
The sunlight coming through the breaks in the slot canyons changed throughout the time we were there and with this tour company, there are no crowds. It was only the 7 of us on the tour, so good.
To get out to the canyons we got driven out on an open-air 4×4 truck, that was a lot of fun doing a little bit of 4 wheel driving.
Then we drove to Horse Shoe Bend and got to spend some time there, again with no crowds as the tour group’s viewing spot was on more of the land. So we didn’t have to compete with the crowds that were at the official Horse Shoe Bend viewing area.
After that, it was another road trip down to Phoenix – again, spectacular views!!!
Once agsin photos great sounds amazing too. Love Mum and Dad
