More fun & pics in Chicago

So I have spent the past three days watching Chicago turn into a beautiful winter wonderland. Since I arrived there have been snow flurries but late yesterday afternoon it truly started snowing. And the snow took away the wind chill factor too, so it was not nearly as brutal as the first day!

The ice hockey match I saw on Friday night was incredible – Chicago Blackhawks vs NY Rangers. Such a great sport to see live. My cousin Heidi connected me with a friend of her’s that lives here and they were going to the game as well. So for the last 20 minutes of the game, my standing room only seat got a nice little upgrade to about 5 rows from the actual game!! NY Rangers won in overtime 1 – 0.

Then after the game we visited a few neighbourhood bars. It was a great night.

Last night I did a little bar crawl after I visited my favourite sculpture again – this time with snow. Also visited a Christmas Market and enjoyed a mulled wine while the snow fell. It was simply stunning. And I got to try th deep dish pizza – delish!!!

Now I’m back on the train, this time to Denver. The snow is still falling and the scenery is spectacular!!!
