Day 2 Boston: Fenway Park

imageFun filled day today. Started with getting lost trying to find the tourist hop on hop off bus stop – (cliched much???) turned left when I should have turned right! I have no sense of direction over here.

Got off the bus at Fenway Park to explore! It was great. I didn’t realise it is the oldest ball park in the States, there is so much cool history in Boston, every local has a story to tell. Ended up being at the Park for a couple of hours. Then jumped on another hop on hop off bus to take me to Harvard but the bus driver was HILARIOUS and had so many stories to tell – it helped that there were only 5 of us on the bus – that I decided to stay on the bus. Harvard tomorrow now :-).

Been meeting some very random and interesting people here, everyone is lovely and loves a chat!

And shopping, today I went a little crazy on beautiful Newberry Street – I think I may already need to buy another suit case (and I’m only day 2 of holiday),

And OMG, the food or more importantly the SEAFOOD!!! I’ve had two lobsters, 2 dozens oysters, steamers (steamed clams in garlic butter), raw clams, 2 shrimp cocktails, clam chowder, hot crab dip and only 1 mac and cheese – holidays are great!!!
